Stabiliser installation: white split AC indoor unit high on a plain wall
Electrician30-day warranty included

Stabiliser installation

Takes about 45 min

A stabiliser protects an appliance from the voltage swings common in summer. The electrician mounts the stabiliser on the wall near the appliance or places it on a level surface, connects it between the power point and the appliance, and checks the output voltage and the appliance start-up.

The price shown on this page is for fitting one stabiliser near an existing point, labour only. A new socket, a higher-rated point or extra wire is quoted first. The stabiliser is bought by you, and should match the appliance's rating.

The job takes about 45 minutes. Keep the stabiliser with its wall bracket, and make sure the point near the appliance is the right one for its load.

Questions about this service

Does my AC need a stabiliser?

Many ACs have a built-in range, but areas with frequent swings still benefit. Check the maker's guidance.

Can you fix it high on the wall?

Yes. Wall-mounting near the AC is common, as long as the cable reaches.

Are spare parts included in the price?

No. If a part or material is needed, the electrician quotes it and fits it only after you agree.

What if the problem comes back?

If the work done stops working within 30 days, we come back and fix it at no charge.
