New internal wiring (per 5m): coils of new wire packed into an open wall box
Electrician30-day warranty included

New internal wiring (per 5m)

Takes about 1 hr

Concealed wiring keeps a new point clean, with no casing on the wall. The electrician plans the route with you, cuts a groove in the wall, lays conduit, pulls the wire through and connects it at both ends, then tests the circuit.

The price is per 5 metres as shown on this page, so a longer route is simply more units. Wire, conduit and boxes are quoted before work starts, and the electrician will suggest the right wire size for the load, for example a heavier wire for an AC or geyser point.

Chasing a wall makes dust and leaves a groove that needs plastering and paint afterwards, which is not part of this service. Cover nearby furniture and keep the route clear.

Questions about this service

How is the length worked out?

The electrician measures the route before starting and tells you how many 5-metre units it needs.

Will you plaster the wall afterwards?

No. Plastering and paint touch-up are separate. The electrician leaves the groove tidy and the wiring tested.

Are spare parts included in the price?

No. If a part or material is needed, the electrician quotes it and fits it only after you agree.

What if the problem comes back?

If the work done stops working within 30 days, we come back and fix it at no charge.
