Inverter servicing: rows of batteries with red and blue terminals

Inverter servicing

Takes about 1 hr

Regular servicing keeps a tubular battery healthy and gives you longer backup. The electrician cleans corrosion off the battery terminals, applies a protective coat, checks each cell's water level and tops it up with distilled water, tightens connections and dusts the inverter vents.

The price shown on this page covers one inverter and battery. Distilled water is topped up as part of the service. Replacing a terminal, cable or battery is quoted before fitting.

The job takes about 60 minutes. Keep the area around the battery clear, and switch off heavy loads during the visit so the electrician can check charging.
