Mirror installation: oval gold-framed mirror on a wall
Carpenter30-day warranty included

Mirror installation

Takes about 15 min

Mirrors are heavy for their size and unforgiving if they tilt. The carpenter checks the mirror's back for hooks, a frame or bare glass, chooses clips or a bracket to suit, and marks the height with you so it sits right for the people using it. The fixings go into solid wall and the mirror is levelled before the final tighten.

It takes about 15 minutes, from the price shown on this page. A full-length or frameless mirror needing extra clips is priced before work.

Keep the mirror upright against a wall near the spot, with any clips or brackets from the box. For a mirror over a basin, book Mirror installation (bathroom).

Questions about this service

Can you fit a frameless mirror?

Yes, with mirror clips at the edges. If your mirror came without clips, buy a set first or approve the carpenter picking some up at cost.

Is this for bathroom mirrors?

This is for mirrors on regular walls. Over a basin on tiles, book Mirror installation (bathroom), which allows for tile drilling.

Do you supply the mirror?

No. You buy the mirror, and the carpenter fits it.
