Four door wardrobe assembly: white built-in wardrobe in a bedroom

Four door wardrobe assembly

Takes about 3 hr

A four-door wardrobe is usually two or more sections joined together, and those joins decide whether it stays straight. The carpenter levels the floor area, builds each section, bolts the sections to each other, and fixes the back panels so the whole run stays square. Interiors go in next, then all four shutters are hung and tuned to an even line. Finally, the whole run is anchored to the wall above.

Plan for about three hours, at the fixed price shown on this page.

Keep the boxes in the room, clear the full length of the wall, and check the ceiling height against the wardrobe height on the box.

Questions about this service

Why is my four-door wardrobe in two parts?

Large wardrobes are made in sections so they fit through doors. The carpenter joins them so they work as one unit.

Can you add a loft on top?

Only if the loft comes in the same kit. A made-to-measure loft needs a Carpenter consultation for a quote.

Can the carpenter assemble furniture from any brand?

Yes, as long as the maker's instructions and fittings are in the box.
