- 1
Dry and watch
The plumber dries every joint and runs water to see exactly where the drip starts.
- 2
Agree the fix
You hear which part is leaking and whether a reseal or a new part is needed.
- 3
Reseal the joint
The joint is opened, cleaned, given a fresh washer or tape and tightened.
- 4
Run and fill
The basin is filled and drained a few times while the joints are checked dry.
What we need from you
- The cabinet under the basin emptied
- A dry cloth or towel
Questions about this service
The leak only shows when I drain a full basin. Why?
That points to the waste coupling or trap rather than the tap supply. The plumber fills and drains the basin to find it.
Will you replace the bottle trap?
If it is cracked, a new trap is quoted before fitting, or you can buy one yourself.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. If the repair stops working within 30 days, we come back and fix it at no charge.
