Questions about this service
How do I pick the right seat size?
Measure from the middle of the bolt holes to the front edge of the bowl, and check whether the bowl is round or oval. Take these to the shop.
My old bolts are rusted. Is that a problem?
No. The plumber cuts them out carefully without marking the ceramic.
The soft-close lid drops too fast. Can it be adjusted?
Many soft-close hinges have an adjustment, and the plumber sets it during fitting. If the damper is faulty, it is a seat defect to take up with the seller.
