How the visit goes

Check the points
The plumber measures the hot and cold points for spacing, depth and level.

Set the connectors
Eccentric connectors are taped and turned until the mixer lines up straight.

Mount the mixer
The mixer is fitted with its washers and flanges, and the outlet is connected.

Test hot and cold
Both lines are run, the temperature is checked on each side and every joint is checked dry.

Questions about this service
My hot and cold come out on the wrong side. Can you fix that?
Yes. The plumber checks which point is which and sets the mixer so hot is on the marked side.
Do I need a concealed mixer instead?
A concealed mixer needs wall chasing, which is civil work. This service fits a wall-mounted mixer on your existing points.
Why switch the geyser on beforehand?
So the hot line can be tested at real temperature and any leak shows up during the visit.
