RO inlet/tap point connection: water running from a black kitchen tap
Plumber30-day warranty included

RO inlet/tap point connection

Takes about 30 min

An RO purifier needs a dedicated inlet from a water line, usually a tee and a small valve on the kitchen supply. A verified plumber finds a suitable line near where the purifier will go, fits a tee and a valve, and leaves a sealed connection point ready for the RO feed pipe. The joint is pressure checked so nothing seeps behind your cabinets.

The visit takes about 30 minutes, at the fixed price shown on this page. Mounting the purifier, filters and wiring are done by the RO brand's technician. Decide where the purifier will sit before the visit, and keep the inlet valve or tee that came in the RO kit, if it has one.

What's included

  • Suitable supply line found near the purifier spot
  • Tee and inlet valve fitted on the line
  • Sealed connection point for the RO feed pipe
  • Pressure and leak check on the new joint
  • 30-day warranty on the fitting

What's not included

  • The RO purifier, filters and its installation
  • Electrical points for the purifier
  • Long new pipe runs, quoted first

  3. 3

    Seal and check

The joint is taped and tightened, then the supply is opened and the joint checked under pressure.
