Questions about this service
Why does my flush keep running?
Usually the flush valve seal or the float is not seating, so water trickles into the bowl. The plumber cleans or adjusts it and suggests a new mechanism only if it is worn out.
When do I need the new flush mechanism option?
When the valve or seal is cracked or brittle and will not seal again. The plumber shows you the worn part before fitting a new one.
Can you repair a concealed cistern?
If it can be reached through the button plate, yes. Work that needs the wall opened is civil work and outside this service.
