Check the drain
The plumber pours water in and watches how fast it drops, and checks nearby drains.

The grate is lifted and everything within reach in the trap is pulled out.

Buckets of water are run through to confirm the drain flows freely.

Questions about this service
Can you clear a kitchen sink choked with grease?
Yes. Grease is cut loose from the trap and pipe with the auger and flushed with hot water where possible.
What if the blockage does not clear?
The pressure machine is available as an add-on. If it is a main sewer line issue, that is quoted separately and you may decline.
Why should I avoid acid?
Acid can damage pipes and floor tiles and can splash on the plumber. It also rarely clears hair clogs.
